Max Schäpers

Trained mediator for conflict resolution and mediation in Munich — structured, pragmatic and solution-oriented

I support people as a mediator in conflicts and challenging situations. Conflicts are a normal part of everyday life. At the same time, they can become so intense or persistent that they place a significant strain on everyone involved.

In these situations, I help to prevent further escalation and instead work towards solutions that are sustainable for all parties, whether in private or professional contexts.

My approach: Structured and persistent

As a project manager in the energy sector, I am responsible for processes and structures. I bring this approach into mediation: While Laura’s work often focuses on the “why” and the underlying dynamics, my focus is on the question: What happens next?

Core principles

  • Structure in complexity: I help create structure in situations that feel overwhelming or unclear.
  • Outcome ownership: I guide the process, but the solutions come from you — because only agreements you develop yourselves will work in everyday life.
  • Persistence: In difficult situations, it is essential to stay engaged. I support you in not giving up when things become complex.
  • Pragmatism: Concepts are useful — but what matters is what actually works in your daily life or organisation.

Working as a team
Why we combine our expertise

At beziehungsbude., we combine two perspectives that are often needed in conflict situations: Understanding (Laura) and structuring agreements (Max).

In many cases, it is useful to first work on emotional dynamics and patterns — and then translate this into clear, practical agreements. We offer the full process: from insight to concrete, workable solutions.
